Good Morning Everyone!

Please join me over on Graphic 45's Blog today to check out what you can do with one amazing collection...Raining Cats and Dogs.

I've created a simple to make leash holder using a wood plaque from the wood department at the craft store...Added a simple wax resist technique with black and white craft paint...Applied the papers from Raining Cats and Dogs and finished it off with a created frame and Graphic 45 Metal Staples...

Here's a picture of the project....

Dr. Phineas Ellsworth’s Fantastic Puzzle Book?? Tutorial DONE!!!

Good Morning Everyone and Happy Friday!!!

I'm so excited about a new tutorial that I just completed.  I call it ....

Dr. Phineas Ellsworth’s Fantastic Puzzle Book??
Yes, it's a crazy name huh?  I know, I know...But I couldn't help it!
Dr. Phineas Ellsworth’s Fantastic Puzzle Book?? was a book that literally has been rolling around in my head for two years now.  I’m so excited to see it in real life.  I hope you will be too!
Fashioned after a vintage book on the outside, however when opened, Dr. Phineas Ellsworth’s Fantastic Puzzle Book?? holds lots of puzzling interactive features.  Pull the side out and have you come to a dead end?  No, pull the front down…still nothing…how puzzling….Pull another side out and now you are intrigued…again pull another part of the book out….nothing….Ahhhhhh!  Now you have it…pull the remaining drawer open and you find the secret treasure.  A mini to record puzzling events in your life.
As promised, it is now up in my Etsy store...I hope you like it and give it a try...
You can find the tutorial in my Etsy store by clicking the link HERE....

Diane's Jack-in-the Box Done!

Good Morning Everyone!

It's a very special day today! It's the birthday of a very special woman to me...Diane Schultz.  Diane Schultz is the Owner and Designer of Graphic 45.  This very remarkable, talented, elegant and ooohhh so beautiful lady gave me the opportunity to be apart of the Graphic 45 Design Team two years ago and I'm proud that I can call her friend. Diane's amazing company has inspired just about everything I have touched that deals with paper and I owe her so much for the inspiration she has given me.

In honor of Diane's birthday, I have designed a fun project that is full of surprises...Diane's Jack-in-the Box.  Please join me over at Graphic 45 to see the Birthday version of this box and while your there please leave BIRTHDAY WISHES for this lovely lady.  Happy Birthday Diane!

Today, I would also like to share the Christmas version of Diane's Jack -in-the Box.  Diane's Jack-in-the Box has many surprises...Release the canvas strap from the fastener and up P-O-P-S the surprises.  In this version of the Jack Box, a beautiful present awaits someone to reveal the contents.  Untie the bow and the gift box sides fall open to reveal a gift card...This box can be made with any themed paper.  Think of all the possibilities for the surprises that could pop up inside.

The tutorial is now available in my Etsy store HERE or by copying and pasting the address below into your browser's address bar:

Playing with Pages!

Good Morning Everyone!

Thought I would hop on here and do a spot of blogging!  As always, I need to keep several projects going all at once.  It seems the only way that I can create.  I think I get excited about certain aspects of a project and to keep the stir going, I like to move onto another project and think about the previous before I put my hand to it.  Go figure...Just works for me.

So now it seems I have three chipboard projects in the wings and was able to finish up a couple of pages in my art journal.  I find it very relaxing to work on chipboard goodness and then move to an art journal page just to unwind...I know weird...but like I said above, it works for me.  As the chipboard projects are not done as of yet, I thought I would share a couple of pages from my art journal.

First up, one that I had worked on last week, but finally finished up today with some quotes....

Circles....

Next, a spread that I used my hand carved stamps on....

Funny Bones....

Well, I better get back to it!  Have an amazing Sunday!
