Clipper Street in Canada... Here We Come!

God Morning Everyone!

It's been so nice having the Red Queen and Andy Challis here with us these past two weeks... Going to be sad to say goodbye to two wonderful friends tomorrow.  But, we've made some awesome memories and took lots of pictures to look back on.  It's time to pull out the white sheets and store the red sheets and towels for a later date. LOL!

Now, we are all off going our separate ways...Dyan and Andy to Illinois and Cesar and I are off for a wonderful week checking out the Vancouver area for a bit before teaching at the AMAZING Clipper Street Scrapbook Company in Langley, B.C. this weekend!  So excited!

If you haven't already signed up for classes, there are, I think, a few spots left.  So come on by and let's get CRAFTY!

New Tutorial and Kits -The Vintage Fortune Telling Machine

Hello Everyone!

Just been powering through things that need to be done!  We live in such a busy world  don't we and it sure feels good to sit down in a chair with clean hands and type right?!  Isn't that crazy!  But true!  I know you all know what I'm talking about.  Who knew that sitting in a chair could bring you such happiness...ahhhhhh!

I had the chance to create a new project this week and I personally love it.  Is that being humble?  I hope you do too...I have always been enchanted with the old Fortune Telling Machines.  However, the only time I ever tried it out was in Chicago on Navy Pier.  It was fascinating.  Loved the animatronics of the swami and the vintage look of it..So I thought, let me see if I can make one...Here's what I came up with..

The Vintage Fortune Telling Machine

I would like present my newest project to you using Graphic 45's Rare Oddities...

This amazingly fun project is detail rich!  Bringing back memories of those mysterious fortune telling machines where the figure inside was animated and gave you a fortune.  In this version, the fortune teller is backlit and also has a lit crystal ball to gaze into the future.  Open the little fortune drawer and there are tons of little envelopes filled with fun fortunes to delight and amaze.

Please note:  I will be out of town until Wednesday, Sept. 9th and will ship all kits on Thursday Sept. 10th...
