New Projects: Two Thin House Mini's and the 2018 Putz House

Good Morning Everyone!

Well, needless to say this is my favorite time of year!  I love the cooler temps and something comes over me and I literally CRAVE to craft!  So crafting I have been.  We started with a new series of what I call Thin House Mini's.  First was the Fall Barn and now I designed two new houses to add to this new series  It seems like everyone is loving this new series.  They are easy to make, easy to store, an awesome display to make your house even more festive and a great size.  Each has a mini inside to add your pictures, embellishments and journaling.  Please Note:  The pictures below show the pages in the mini in either Kraft or Black...The pages in your kit will be RED.

NEXT UP-The NEW 2018 Putz...Continuing the tradition of designing a Putz house every year, I have designed a Putz that's a little bit bigger than years past.  It's very traditional and very easy to make.  Once built, just add your own paint or patterned paper, snow, glitter, trees for a little holiday magic...

Now, to show you what they look like, let's go with the Thin House Mini's First...

New Series! Thin House Minis: Fall Barn

Good Morning All!

I wanted to share a new monthly collection I've designed.  I call them Thin House Minis...I am so excited about these houses as they are easy to make, full of details, have a mini inside and the best part, they are thin.  2-1/4-inches thin so that you can easily store them and get maximum display impact from the front.

The first in the lineup is...

The Fall Barn

New! The Haunted Manse Kit

Good Morning!

Hope you all are having an awesome start to the week.  Still hot as blazes here in Central Texas.  I wish I loved the heat but prefer a constant 78 degrees!  Which by the way we have for about two weeks that I call Spring.

Well, I'm actually trying to wrap my brain around how fast FALL IS COMING!  Next month is September!  Didn't we just have September...and didn't we just have Christmas...And it's time to do it all over again.  Not really a problem with me though...This starts my favorite time of the year!  I love the holidays.  Today, I wanted to share my newest project kit.  I call it the Haunted Manse.

The Haunted Manse

A fun and whimsical way to celebrate Halloween.  The Haunted Manse is covered with Echo Park's Bewitched collection.  Enter the scary cool Haunted Manse through the bat front gate and then pull the main house out between the two towers.  Take off the roof and open the house and it has a nice mini album to record your Halloween fun.  The house sits on a chipboard plied with a 1/8-inch wood base so that the house over time will not sag in the middle.  Really fun and not hard to make. Looks great as a Halloween Decoration!  The Haunted Manse has a lot of cool cuts for the bat gate, iron railing, etc.

New Products Finally! Carriage Clock and Fairy Doors!

Good Morning Everyone and Happy Friday!

I apologize for not being on social media lately.  I've been trying to get back in the regular flow of life.  It's weird...I literally did not go into my studio for two weeks.  The loss of someone you love, I guess, affects us in strange ways.  But...Good News!  I missed the studio so much and decided to de-clutter and wanted a new fresh organized studio.  After two days and (15) forty gallon trash bags later,  I had it cleaned up and as you would now, the creativity started to flow!  Ahhhhhh!

So, I basically missed June projects but trying to catch up...This is what I came up with...All with a French Flair this month.  Loving this months chipboard project too...but first two new Fairy Lane Doors for all my collector's...FUN...

Now this month's paper project...

The French Carriage Clock

This is an awesome French Carriage Clock that has been laser cut from chipboard. I honestly love looking over at it sitting on a table in my house. Great decorative piece...It looks like it came from a fancy clock shop. It's a blast to make and I hate to use the word honestly again, but honestly easy to make! The clock looks like it has a moon phase section to it at the top and is packed with details...Graphic 45 Lion pulls on each side, Graphic 45 feet, wooden dowel accents on the front, quartz clock battery movement, wooden moon, decorative scroll pieces for the front, cool chipboard handle and all covered in Authentique's Alpine Collection! This would make an AWESOME gift too!

Father's Day Projects! Retro Radio & Bi-Plane Mini

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Happy Friday!  I hope all is well and that the weather around you is bright and beautiful.  We here in Central Texas have already seen high 90's.  I wish Spring would last a bit longer...Love those 70 degree days!

With Father's Day right around the corner I wanted to share a couple of projects that I just completed with you...

Vintage Bi- Plane with Accordion Mini

I had a ball making this plane.  I knew I wanted a plane shape but I also wanted to somehow include a mini inside.  I came up with an accordion mini cut from chipboard in the shape of the body of the plane.  Add small pictures and journaling to the pages.  Totally easy to put together using the included glue.   Take your time and enjoy making this your style with your own paint or paper.

The Retro Radio Clock

This kit was inspired by my Father's old radio clock that I recently found under my mom's bathroom sink. The Retro Radio has a quartz clock movement that is included in the kit. Open the lid and you can use it as a phone charger with included chipboard pieces for storage underneath or take out the pieces and use it for larger items you want to get off your desk. Cover the Retro radio with the precut papers and add your own silver paint for accents. Really fun and easy project to make. Makes a great Father's Day Gift as well.

New Projects!!!

I have been having a blast making tiny things lately.  Mainly wee little houses.  I sent a few around to my friends who have been having fun making them and they suggested I do them for my shop and add to them making a little village...I call them Tiny Tag Houses.  They are so easy to put together.  All you need to do is pop them out of the tag, assemble with your own white glue and paint.  Add them to a shrine, put them at the base of a potted plant, give them as a gift, or create a tiny village in your kitchen window.

If you would like to give the Tiny Tag Houses a try please check them out here:

New Thread Holder Kits!!!

Well, you made it down to the bottom of the page!  Yahooo!  I was inspired by an antique thread holder I had seen on Antique Road Show UK.  I loved it as it keeps all your thread spool together and has a handy dandy drawer at the bottom for sewing notions!  I thought I would like to give that a try and this is what I came up with...Fun and so easy to make...Just add your own paint or cover it with patterned paper to make it yours.  There are two styles to choose from...

You can find this one by clicking the link below:
