September Village Collection: The Olde Fall Mill House

Good Morning Everyone!

I know it's a weird day to post the September project on a Monday morning...two days away from November...but I am trying to get this months house in before the end of the month.

As I was covering this month's Village Collection piece with paper, I feel I really lucked out on the paper collection.  I bought it for the rock looking paper to cover the sides of the mill house.  I had no idea what the back of the paper looked like and then to discover it was roof tile....Yahoooo!  So, happily I used the tiles for the roof, covered the sides in rock and then added the wood look paper to the windows and doors...The Olde Mill comes complete with a flower box under one of the windows and the water wheel moves of course...LOL!  I so wished I had some tiny decorative pumpkins to set by the front door, for photographing the sample, but just never got around to it.  Just imaging fall leaves and pumpkins on the base of this project...

This month I give you...

New Projects!

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Hello!  Today I wanted to offer you several fun, easy and affordable projects to make.  Three Fall Gifted Boxes and one holiday project.

Again, these projects are so easy to make, yet when finished makes a beautiful gift.  The three Fall Gifted Boxes are cut from 2X heavy weight chipboard and would make great place card holders at each place at the Thanksgiving table or a wonderful hostess gift filled will homemade what-nots.  Just add your own paper and embellishments for this project.

Santa's Workshop Puppet

The Santa's Workshop Puppet is cut from wood and just needs a little inexpensive white glue to put together.  You add your own paper and embellishments to finish it off.  Just twist the poinsettia knob on the back and watch Santa do a festive dance!
