New Projects For the Holidays!

 Good Afternoon Y'all!

Feels a bit weird posting this the eve of Halloween, but I guess it's best to get an early start on making Holiday Projects!

It's finally gotten a bit cooler here which is putting me in the making mood!  Always this time of year it truly is like Santa's Workshop in the studio.  I Love IT!  So....I went a bit crazy with little lantern making!  I made one, fell in love and designed a bunch more.  I finally had to stop!  Then I was off making little lighted winter scenes...I made a couple, but again I could have gone on and on!

September Kits: Scarecrow and Theater On Wheels

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Well, looks like Fall is just around the corner!  In Texas, or at least where I live in Central Texas, it seems I starting getting in that Fall mood when the temperatures drop from 110 down into the 80's!  And boy howdy that's what is happening now!  I can finally turn my creative juices on and get ready for this fun season we have ahead.

Since the Jumping Jacks and Theater did so well last month, I thought I would make a Scarecrow Jumping Jack to add to the collection and a new Theater On Wheels.  I'm personally in love with this theater.  I really hope you all like both this month's projects too.

Paper Kits you ask?  Well, I'm still waiting on an order for glue and I swear by the glue I use.  Almost two months on backorder!  UGGH!

It's Been Awhile! New Kits! Jumping Jacks and Royal Theater

 Good Afternoon Everyone!

So, the last few months have been...weird...yes, that's a good word.  I guess I took a few months off to concentrate on getting things done I've so so needed to do.  Not being in my routine and doing odd things has been a challenge.  However, I'm so happy to have had the time off to get these home projects done, as well as, sit down and create something I love to make.  I'm sure many of you, working with my hands creating during these odd times has been a life saver.  Trying to make the weird into normal has been fun and I'm back on track.  If someone would just make a mask that wasn't so hot I'm back in the game totally!  HA!  Hope you all are finding your new normal.

Anyway,  below are the projects I've created for us.  As always, if you know me, I love these old fashioned toys!  They are low tech, but once completed can really be a work of art sitting out for a conversation starter.  I'm NO painter...but I've had so much fun trying to decorate the jumping jacks with paints and stamps and cutouts...Hope you like them.  For more information on the kits please check out the links below each picture.

New May Kits: Farmhouse Fruit Stand and Test Tube Vase!

Good Afternoon Everyone!

I just finished a couple of projects for May.  I had given a little sneak peek on Facebook last week of the Farmhouse Fruit stand.  I don't think I've ever had so much fun designing and making something as much as this! THEN... it was such a treat to figure out how I wanted to stock the stand with bushels of fresh fruit!  I think it made it come to life.  There is a secret compartment in the inside of the stand that holds a mini book perfect for recipes, memories and pictures!  Using Graphic 45's Farmhouse Paper Collection for that cool rustic style!  I hope you like this month's projects...

As all the flowers and plants come into bud and bloom in my area, I couldn't help but want to make a small flower vase to keep on my kitchen bar.  Sometimes there is a big swathe of flowers blooming, but for the life of me I can't cut a huge bouquet as I want them to beautify the outside, but I can take a small sampling of flowers and put them in this vase.  I was fresh out of test tubes, but I found these sweet little lidded bottles at a craft store and thought...Perfect!  If you do have some test tubes laying around I believe the opening will be large enough.  Keep the jar for treasures.

In the shop I also added a few more things that were requested.  I've added more of the Hutch kits, Lyn B's Fairies, and Cesar's Lamp.

New Projects! Lamps and Fairies

Good Afternoon Everyone!

I first want to wish everyone a Very Happy Easter tomorrow.  I hope it brings some hope and happiness to you all.  No doubt it's been a bit trying at times lately.  I work from home so it's been a bit normal for me to be here all the time.  However, for some reason I've been cleaning out drawers and deep cleaning shower stalls!  It's been nice to get things done that I've been meaning to do for so long...and then there is the crafting! 

Gosh, it's so nice to be able to make things.  Crafting to me brings me such peace and enjoyment.  I wanted to share my love of making things with you and offer up a couple of new projects.  One is a lamp Cesar challenged me to create...it's more of a cozy night light and the other is a set of three Fairies that were inspired by my good friend Lyn Bruha.  Hope you like...
