Good Morning Everyone!
Well, I'm writing this blog in advance of it's Friday post. Why? It's Thursday night and I have been adding the patterns to the kits for classes this weekend in Waxahachie. I've been washing the last of my clothes, cleaning up the house....(Why? I love to come home to a clean house...My mom taught me that, but it's a killer!)...packing my tools, clothes and my car! Ahhhhh....I'm almost done. Through it all, I HAVE LOVED IT! Why? Because it's a challenge! LOL! True! If I don't have stress in my life, I wouldn't know how to cope! Go figure that one out!
I've got the whole house is such a stir of commotion you would think we were having guests for Christmas dinner! However, I hope my reassuring actions, calm and gentle spirit are soothing as I yell..."I just don't understand why we have 4 packages of brads left!...We have to go back through all the kits!" Bahahhahaha! Actually, that never happened...Kinda!
OK, I wanted to let you know that the pattern for the Roosevelt Album is up on Etsy and raring to go! It's a fun book that will be great for your Summer vacation pictures, memories, journaling and an awesome book for a man. Hope you give it a go! Once again I want to take the opportunity now to thank you for your support! Y'all Rock!

Quote Wallet With a 4th Spin!
Good Morning Everybody!
Wow! Independence Day is tomorrow! I cannot believe it's already July which really means we have gone through half a year already! Amazing! I will celebrate at home getting my class stuff kitted, getting the lawn in order, maybe a little BBQ...anything is possible! I would love to know what your plans are...Let me know...
Thanks for coming out to the show last night! We had a great time putting a new PATRIOTIC spin on the quote wallet. I had so much fun being with you all. It was good to get back into the swing of things again! So thanks tons!
I decided at the last minute I was out of latches for the front and metal rimmed key tags for the interior, but we made it work....Hope you can find a little inspiration from the project to take away and make your own...

Hope your weekend is off to a good start. It's a hot start here in Granger, Texas! Good Grief Gladys!
I went out this morning to run errands and here's what we have at 11:16 a,m,....
97 Degrees ALREADY!
Here are a few pictures of things around the hood on my trek out in the heat....
Froggage on the rocker on the front porch! I think the little guy was trying to get to the bugs near the light! Smart me thinks!
Hay Baling Time In The Country!
It's so pretty to see a ton of these rolled up in the fields. How the sun catches these golden bales is amazing!
You may have heard me talk about the Weir Country Store before...It's our lifeblood out here. The only store for several miles. Known for two things...The highest price ever for gasoline and their amazing hamburgers! They have the most INCREDIBLE old fashioned hamburgers....Oh My Gosh!! Where else can you get worms, propane, snack cakes, hamburgers, gas and bacon all in one place!
Always something going on across from the Country Store...A lady selling her goods....
A few posts back, I mentioned how they have been redoing the roads in this heat...Well, they look pretty good! Good Job Guys!
My first house! (On the right with the big brick fence behind it) It was my pride and joy! Especially the yard and the landscaping...There was a large open field behind it that looked out onto San Gabriel Park. Gorgeous Views! I was always worried that a gas station would be built behind the house. It was truly one of the main reasons I moved to the country. We would hear rumors and I was always unsettled about it and decided to put it on the market to find peace with country living.....well.....
You Got It! Gas station and liquor store! I must say it would have been nice to go through the back fence to grab some bacon if you ran out!
Georgetown's claim to fame...Inner Space Caverns!
My Happy Place...IKEA!
And the limestone quarry! Austin White Lime Company in Round Rock, Texas...
Well, back from my errands before it reached 105 today Yahooo! Gotta get back to the studio!
Have an AWESOME weekend!

Happy Thursday!
Good Morning Everyone!
I decided to blog from my cell phone while I wait in a line to go down 971 which leads from my house to Austin where I work.
They, who ever they may be, always pick the grandest times to do these road renovations. I'm sure there is a reason. Rains have stopped, maybe the heat helps the asphalt to be laid better, just finally getting to it, etc. But I just feel for the men who are standing on the newly laid blacktop in what will be 103 degrees today. Wow! Makes me thankful to these gents for tbe service they give to the county. Thank you.
Well, I
