Once again I am back showing off my CHA project for this last week. Some simple... some more out there....with a Halloween theme. I hope you take a moment to peruse the samples and can find some inspiration.
First up is a simple Halloween tag.....
Keeping with the same theme of architecture, I created a couple of Halloween houses that sit on canvas....
Then folks.... it was time for me to cut loose and do what I do best...Jim The Gentleman Crafter style.....
The Laboratorie Book
And then there was the take on Gene Wilder's Young Frankenstein's Lab....
Remember....
Frank's Lab and Mini
Again one of my favorite projects....Steampunk Man and Mini!
And Last But Not Least...One of my Very Favorites...An animated clock. You turn the wheel on the right and the gears move....
The G45 Steampunk Spells Clock
Well, That's it! This has been what has devoured my time as of late. I hope you like them and can find some inspiration from these projects. If you get a second, I would love to know which you would like to have tutorials on....
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Jim
The Gentleman Crafter
These are all fantastic, but I am really drooling over the G45 clock. superb!!!

ReplyDeleteAs always, your creations are OVER THE TOP!
LOVE THEM ALL - want tutorials on them ALL!
But if I can only pick one, I would love a tutorial on the Laboratorie Book
and that was a difficult choice to make.
Ohh Ohh Ohh! (My hand is up in the air).....do the Laboratorie Box. I could see using this more than Halloween, but I love the Halloween pieces. There's so much going on in there. But then I also love the house on the canvas, simple and again we could use it for other holidays. Wouldn't it be fun to turn it into a birthday house for something completely different? Bright colors, bold prints, just plain ol' fun. Your steampunk clock is amazing, how many hours would that take? Moving parts & me don't work. :p
ReplyDeleteWell now, this is beyond awesome. Please, please do tutorials on everything.
ReplyDeleteOK.....WOW, what else is there to say but WOW! PLEASE do a tutorial on the laboratory Book and Frank's lab...PLEASE
ReplyDeleteTruly amazing, while Halloween is my favorite Holiday, the shaker is wonderful. How about a halloween shaker box!!!
ReplyDeleteI can only second what everyone has said already. I will add that these should be on display in an art gallery, especially the laboratory book - that is out of this world.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow! How do you ever have time to do anything ? These projects are just incredible, and I can't even. Imagine the time and patience they must take.
ReplyDeleteSuch incredible and wonderful works of 3D art, just love them.

ReplyDeleteYou have such a wonderful imagination and talent Jim! I'm not really into Halloween or Steampunk, but I'd love to see a tutorial on the construction of the Laboratorie book please as I can see other uses for it too. What I'd really like though is a tutorial for the magnificent lighthouse - pretty please!
ReplyDeleteSo you're claiming these took up so much of your time? Lol. Jim, what a SUCCESS! My fingers are itching to actually touch each one. I'm amazed you got so many projects finished. My choice for tuorials are the Laboratorie Book and Frank's Lab - price is no problem. How funny - my husband and I just watched Young Frankenstein last night and laughed ourselves silly. I would love to make the lab for him.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing so quickly! I'm going back to study it all in detail. Very fun!

Good evening Jim,(or maybe that should be goodnight as it's 23.28 p.m. here "across the pond". ReplyDeleteTRULY AMAZING!!! Every single one of them! Your talent blows my mind. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. I'm so glad you cut loose and did what you do best. I hope you had as much fun creating them as we do looking at them.
ReplyDeleteMy absolute favourite is the Laboratorie Book. Please do a tutorial on this. I am begging on my hands and knees! I don't just want it, I think I have to have it! OMG! I am dizzy with excitement :) The possibilities are endless. I also love the houses on canvas - once again, so many possibilities!
All of your work is wonderful & inspiring. I would love see a tutorial on the Laboratorie Book, actually any of the designs would be great to create. Thank you for sharing your amazing projects with us!
ReplyDeleteYou never cease to amaze me, Jim! Love them ALL! And how clever to use the burlap panel for a base! Guess who is gonna"steal" THAT idea?
ReplyDeleteHoly cow, Jim! Somehow I missed the previous Christmas projects post. I love the house with the snow. Could you teach us how to make snow on Ustream; also I would love to have Ustream on how you work with wire on your different projects. Just wanted to make sure you didn't have time on your hands. Lol.

I hope we see lots of project tutorials from these creations. Just love them. thanks as always for sharing. Theresa aka Mountain Dreamer
ReplyDeleteI'm not much for the goulish stuff but I have a grandson who would love something like Frankenstein's Lab... My plan is to combine some items from each of these projects to create a wall hanging box. I will be sure to tell him where my inspiration comes from because you deserve the credit. I'd have never thought of this on my own and it is right down his alley!! Thanks, Jim... you are not only a gentleman but also a wonder! Having learned your box making techniques and looking at every minute detail in every photo, I don't feel I need a tutorial. Those who do will find themselves with the tools of a master teacher that will take them through many creations!! Value beyond measure... TFS.
ReplyDeleteMouth open... still shaking my head in amazement... so fun so cool !!!
