Prissy Got Heart- A Dylusional Journal Page

Good Evening Everybody!

Well, I've had the most AMAZING weekend!  Hope that you did too!...Went to REI to pick up some stuff for my trip to Italy....Then it was over to IKEA to pick up some furniture for my pal Kay.  Cesar, Barb and I put Kay's furniture together last night and we were all rewarded with the most INCREDIBLE "Tuscan" four course meal!!  Oh My gosh the woman can cook!  WOW!  Still thinking about it!  LOL!  Then it was home to bed and rest up the old ankle.

This morning I woke to a leisurely breakfast with ample amounts of coffee.  With this new found energy I became inspired to CREATE as well as RELAX...The best way I know how to RELAX is to pull out Dyan Reaveley's Creative Journal and just go for it!   Be free and just create!  My Motto!

I had the new stamps from her Dylusions Collection and never had a chance to use them.  It was just about time that I did and I had a blast as always.....

Here's what I did...

Prissy Got Heart

Thanks for coming by to look....Hope you can find just a bit of inspiration to get out your journal to CREATE and RELAX....

Have and Awesome Monday!

  1. What a great journal page Jim, when I first spotted the chain, I thought she needed a whip. But then I told myself to get my head out of the gutter, I guess reading 50 shades kind of stuck in my head. My bad! I've been working in my journal and it really is relaxing. If you do a show Tues. will you please record? I've missed you the last few weeks, this working Tues. nights stinks. Have a great week.

  3. Loving the black and red. Is that black gesso? I was working in my journal today too. Made a bunch of backgrounds so I can do some stamping and doodling. Glad you had a great weekend!

  6. I actually played with backgrounds and stuff last night on a tag! My style is very shabby chic and this is NOT! It was fun to play around with inks and paints and embossing, I had a blast and it WAS very relaxing!! Can't wait to go home and play some more tonight!!!!
Thanks for sharing all your awesomeness!!!

  9. The red really does look amazing on the black. I haven't had the courage to try and do a black background but I'm going to have to give it a try. What white ink pad did you use for the spiderwebs? I still haven't found a good white ink pad... have tried a bunch of them. I love the feathers...was wondering why you "needed" them.

Yes...Saturday was a FUN day and Kay's Tuscan dinner was SUPERB!!! It's always a good day when we all get together!!

    1. Glad you asked this question Barb, because I was wondering the same thing. I have tried numerous white pens and haven't had much luck. They start out great and then they dry up after writing just a bit. Don't get me started on the paint pens either! Ugh I don't know how many paint blotches I have throughout my book.

  11. Glad to hear things are back to normal. Nothing like journaling to get your mojo going. Please do tell us what white ink & pens you use. Do your pens dry out after you start using them? Love this page....of course because it's red!

    1. The white ink is from Hampton Art. I got it from Scrapadabadoo.com. Here's a link:

However, mine says A' la Mode on it. It's amazing white ink and my opinion here...you can't get any better than this for white...

The pen I use is a Uniball White! Once again, one of the BEST pens for journaling...It's amazing! Here's a link for that too:

      Hope that helps!
