Spring...

Hello Everybody!

Just wanted to share my last card for a bit.  It's the card we worked on in my Ustream class today....I call it Spring...Yep, plain old Spring.  The trees blooming, butterflies flying and a bird nesting in the branches....

    What a very pretty spring card. I especially love the stamens in the flowers. I'm off to watch the U-stream recording. I think I may need to be doing some spending when I find out what dies you've used.

    Ah Spring! Love how this turned out. The butterfly's are a wonderful addition. The stamens impressed me so much I ordered two of those McGill punches. Really enjoy spending time with you and the gang. Have a great week.

      Hey Jim thanks for the shout out on YouTube for the nest idea but I can't take credit. I have seen Bivian at Contadina K do this several times. The nests are all hers. Check her out on YouTube and on her blog.

    I'm so glad you posted close-up pictures of your card. I loved it yesterday and today I LOVE it!! Love that you added the butterfly, too. Like someone said yesterday...only Jim can take a bunch of crumpled up ribbon and turn it into something beautiful...love how the nest for the birdie evolved.

    Just love watching the bird and butterflies.....and love watching my dog watch the birds and butterflies. She does seem to understand that they don't want to play with the big hairy things prancing towards them...
