News....

Good Morning Everybody!

Thank you so much for all your kind comments!  I am doing fine!  The aches have finally subsided this morning and the bruises or redness fading away.  LOL!  Go figure!   Thanks again for your care and concern...Mucho Appreciated!

OK, this morning I am off and have been glued to CNN and ABC news watching the news.  So many sad things happening lately.  Both the Boston Marathon and the news in West, Texas.  Some of you emailed me or commented with your concern for me because of the proximity to West. In response to West, Texas...It's about 2 to 2.5 hours away from my house and for reference about an hour and fifteen minutes from Dallas, Texas. What is so weird, you may recall that on the way to Waxahachie last Friday a week ago today, I Facebook-ed that we stopped in West to get the best Kolaches at one of their wonderful bakeries. It's just Amazing!  Who could imagine that a week later there would be an explosion that claimed so many lives.  Thank you so much for your concern.

Sorry about being a downer this morning, but I felt I needed to respond.

Will be back with a separate post on the tag....

See Y'all Soon!

  1. So glad you're healing!!! I keep thinking about how close we were to the explosion in West and how timing is everything. I can't even imagine what the people in both Boston and West are going through but my prayers and thoughts are with all the people and their families involved. May God bless and comfort all of them. Ut's going to be a long road to recovery.

  2. Jim I feel like I am so out of the loop. What are you healing from? Thank the Lord they have identified those responsible for the pain and destruction in Boston.

  4. Jim...I am so ashamed of myself for not knowing what in the heck is going on with you? What are you healing from my dear man? I hope it is nothing too serious. Sending my love and a big hug...<3 Candy

  6. Jim, I'm so glad you are feeling better after your fall. I was googling yesterday to see if you were near the explosion, so glad you are safe. Wow, so sad, my prayers are with all in TX. I too have been glued to the t.v. and have been praying they find this other bomber!

  7. Jim, thank you for letting us know that you are safe and are recovering from your fall. I'm sure Cesar will look after you. It's so sad about the events in Boston and West - our thoughts are with everyone there. It just goes to show that you never know what's around the corner and should enjoy every day while you can. That's one of the things I admire about you - always so positive, even in adversity. You are such a good example to us all!

  8. Aww, I hope you're feeling better. :o( I have been glued to the tv as well, it has been a stressful week. My Gabby lives 10 minutes from the bombing on Monday and the lockdown at school was a lot to handle, but glad they have caught him and the city and victims can't start to recover.
