Hello From The Studio!

Good Afternoon Everybody!

It's like Santa's workshop over here.  LOL! I've been working literally night and day to get samples done for CHA!  Some quicker than others, some that just went into the trash!  Some that need more thought and some that are finished and ready to be submitted....Never quick enough however!

This morning I have approached the design process with sitting staring at a bunch of paper....Guess what?  I'm still sitting here staring at it...Actually, I'm waiting for some pieces to arrive that will get me going again then I'm off!

I did have a chance to go out and mow last night as the sun went down and cooled things down a bit!  Boy, I hate the heat.  It seems to get worse the older I get. However,  I love to mow!  It's that same old thing of making something that looks bad look good again!  I've always loved that, be it polishing brass or painting a wall.  Makes me happy!

I wish I had something to share with you as far as projects go, but I can't just yet.  I don't think I will until the 19th of July when the show opens. Trust me, I'm dying to show you! Really just wanted to stop in and say.... Hello.... Alive and Kicking!

Hey, for Tuesday's, Take Out Tuesday Ustream, do you all have ideas of what you want to do?  Needs to be simple right now because of the time...But, looking for ideas....Let me know....

OK All!  Better go hit it!  Have an awesome Sunday!

  2. Hi Jim, are you feeling better? I do hope so. Don't worry about making anything on Ustream on Tuesday if you are busy - just have a quick chat. I love Eric's idea of a studio tour (we all want to know what's in your white Ikea boxes!

  6. I love mowing too, Jim! My darling hubby thought he'd hit the jackpot when he married me since he hates mowing! I gey on my Kubota and go to my "happy place!" Can't wait to see what you have created for CHA.

  10. Hope the muse are smiling on you soon! As far as Tuesday...know you're in a time crunch and I think just a quick chit chat is fine and you can get back to what you NEED to do. If you feel like you need to show us something...how about teaching a couple tricks you learned at CHA...quick, simple and you don't have to cut chip.

  11. Hello Jim! Sending some mojo your way. Looking forward to seeing your CHA creations. As far as Tuesday I like the idea of a studio tour, or how about doing a page in your Dylusions Journal. We don't need a project, justing chatting and catching up is fun too!

  13. Glad to hear from you! As for projects, yikes... how many are you doing? I have a mess going in my craft room right now! I am working on several different classes that I will be teaching at our LSS. Aaahhh the fresh cut grass... it rained most of the weekend here and is really muggy! Glad you were able to get yours mowed! That will be a job for one night this week! Have a fabulous week and talk to you soon! I have to work, Tuesday night; but not sure how late... Michael and I may make it to your Ustream Show!!!

  15. I'm happy to hear that you got to relax and enjoy mowing the lawn. We always should always take a little time each day to "smell the roses". I like Lynn Hardy's, TexasBarb's and Sharon Y's suggestions for Tuesday. I will watch the recording to see what you do. The main thing is that you take enough time for yourself to get what you need to get done, done and take an iced coffee outside each day, sit down and enjoy watching your grass grow knowing that you will soon enjoy mowing it again :)

  16. Hi Jim! Glad you are feeling better and able to work on all your CHA projects. I second the idea of the studio tour and if you have any nifty storage solutions, I'd love to see those too. TTFN :-)

  17. Jim, I would be fine with just chatting with you, I miss that when you are all business. A studio tour would be great too, but you'd have to hide all the CHA stuff!
Oh, my seeds are sprouting, I'm so excited. What did you say they were called again?
I hope the ideas start popping out of that brilliant head of yours.

  18. Are you feeling better? If not really, this suspicious nurse suggests you take this Tuesdays Ustream off and use that time to visit the urologist. This is recurring quite frequently and you don't want to deal with it during CHA. I know the tests are a pain. Nothing like a bossy woman. Otherwise, just a visit on Tuesday would be great. Try taking on Cesar's knitting for a bit; I bet the ideas will start flowing and you'll be making a mad dash for the studio. Sending good vibes your way.

  22. Good to hear you are feeling better. I do agree with Mo, see your urologist. The next time you have an attack could be at a very inopportune time.
As for me, I'd love to sneek peek the CHA samples, HA!
A demo of the Ranger Techniques, a studio tour, a peek in the wall of boxes, just chatting, all are good options for Tuesday. Just see where the Muse takes you.
    See you Tuesday. Ratty Hugs,
