Hello Everybody!

Well, everything is done!  Airline reservations and hotel!  Done!  Yes, I say... Done!  LOL!  Now I can breathe a bit easier! Cleansing breath....altogether....ahhhhhhhhh!  I did try to talk myself into driving... trust me!  19 hours!  But I was thinking about all the cool stuff to see along the way!  But no!  Flying it is...Nessun Problema!

Still working on projects tonight so not much to show at the mo.... but wanted to share the most hilarious and oh so true video that my friends Kay and Barb sent me via email yesterday!  My stomach hurt so much from laughing after I watched it...I so understand this lady!  I mean she couldn't have been more true...You'll See!  Let's Go Shopping!  Yahoooo!

Now for a disclaimer...I don't know if I can share this video on my blog so I will give you a link to it...Please promise you will go look at it if you need something to brighten you day!

  6. Jim, thanks for sharing this video. I can so relate to her. I just took a look at my craft room today and said "what the heck was I thinking"? I even have a stamp that reads "It seemed like a good idea at the time", which I use to describe my crafting addiction. I had a good laugh and it made me realize I am not alone in this expensive, yet wonderful hobby. Mine started when I bought just one stamp. Can you believe it? What the heck was I thinking? (LOL) I agree with comment above that it is all Tim's fault. It really is all his fault, but we love him anyway. I am a YouTube junkie!

  15. Hi, from across "the pond". I'm fairly new to your blog Jim, although I usually stay in the background but having just watched that hilarious video thought it would be an ideal time to come out of the shadows. Like most crafters I too can soooooo relate to her philosophy. Thanks for sharing that. Loving your blog and just wanted to say you are one hell of a talented gent! Safe journey to the CHA and who knows maybe your UK fans might catch a sneak peek of you some time when our UK Create & Craft TV channel broadcast their show from the CHA on the 23rd. Have a great day.

  18. We had water in our basement due to recent rains and so we lost capet pad, carpet, and some other things. Everyone that has had to come for repair estimates just stand in awe of all of our craft items. One man told us that he hoped that we never met his wife - another asked us if we were a corporation. Another repairman told us he did not know things like that existed!!!!!! One good thing we said to all of them - "if we need it, we have it or know where to get it! Other than the carpet and some paper (some of my copic paper), the worst thing that will happen will be that we will find some duplicates and we start organizing again!!!!!

  20. Thanks for sharing that hilarious and oh so true video Jim! Since you know Tim personally, perhaps you can get him to stop making so many news things we've gotta have?! NAH, what would be the fun in THAT?

I don't love to fly either, so I feel your pain, but it beats driving all that way. I always bring my iPad and watch YouTube videos or a move and pretend I am on a train. Works for me anyway. . .

Have a safe and wonderful time at CHA!

  26. I always suspected that I had a twin out there and now I have proof ---LOL --- I am happy to see that you are still adventurous and know you will have a safe flight to and from CHA --- oh and don't forget to pack a rosary, star of david, worry beads and most importantly a life insurance policy with me as beneficiary!!!

  27. I can truly identify with the lady on that hilarious video - it is indeed an illness - but I sure hope that there's no cure!

Enjoy your trip to CHA and don't forget to tell us all about it.

  28. A super good laugh was just what I needed. All those supplies in my craft room have started to make me nervous; I feel like I am being terrible and wasteful if I don't do something with them. I may just get a good sized canvas and glue everything to it just so I can say I used the stuff. My husband keeps saying, "I thought you said you had everything you needed?" Part of the whole thing is that I feel loved when those packages arrive at my front door or in my mailbox. It's like the Christmas I never had when I was a kid!! I'll even buy a little now and a little later just to keep the packages coming (only with the suppliers that have reasonable shipping rates, of course). As I said to Linda, we are on the wrong end of this crafting thing... we need to be selling!!
