Hola Everybody! It's Friday Eve!

Hola a todos mis amigos e amigas!

I don't know about you guys, but I'm so darn glad it's Thursday!  That only means some REAL craft time is coming up soon!  Love it!  It also means I need to round up the trash and get it to the street for the garbageman to pick up in the morning! Ugggg!  LOL!  Between filling up my car with gas and taking out the trash I don't know which one I hate the most!  Give me a vacum, or a lawn mower and I'm all over it!  But trash and gas not my favorite things to do!

I was just watching Father of The Bride with Steve Martin....while crafting of course.... I forgot how funny that man could be!  I have had the true honor of urinating ( I know!  I know!  Too Much Information!  I can see my mom rolling her eyes now! Such a polished classy man huh?  I'm just real people, we all have to pee! LOL!) next to Steve Martin in a Theater in New York at the intermission of Gypsy with Bernadette Peters!  LOL!  Well, it's true! Sorry, cover your eyes peeps and forget I mentioned it!  :)

OK, where was I, Oh yes, crafting!  I was on the way home tonight!  Like out in the country almost home, when I received an email from a  sweet lady...Elsie... saying, STOP what you are doing now and go to Michaels!  They have new Art-I-Cake pieces at Michaels!  I was so tired and so looking forward to coming home and getting into the studio...But I couldn't stand it!  What did I do?  I turned my car completely around and headed back to town to Michaels!  LOL!  I'm a sucker for stuff like that!  I am a retailers happiest daydream!  Mmmmm, mmmm, Art-I-Cakes had some mighty fine things!  AMAZING!  Since I was there, I accidentally went over to see what was new in the scrapbook aisles like it had changed from being in there two days before!  They had storage on sale at 40% off!  Ooooh I love storage pieces.  To me that means more room for...stuff!  LOL!  Next, I walked down what I call, Tim's aisle.  The aisle where Tim Holtz Idea-ology pieces reside, Ranger goodies and distress inks and stains!  Long story short, the cart was full and I was BROKE!  :) Thanks Elsie!  LOL!

Well, it's 11:00 p.m., I better get the trash out to the street and at least start acting like I can sleep!

Thank you all for coming by to visit!

    1. Barb, Art-I-Cakes is really jewelry bobs and stuff! I'm not a jewelry maker, but If you look beyond the jewelry aspect, you see cool embellishments for projects! So many cool and beautiful things!

      Hugs Barb!

  3. Good grief, Jim! I was afraid you'd crashed the car rushing back to Michael's. And it would have been all my fault... so what art-i-cake's goodies did you get?

And feel free to share any other "I met a famous person in the restroom" stories. (There can't possibly be another one!!)
