Demo Man Here!

Hello Everybody!

I was trying to get this up last night!  But when I went to download 108 pictures....It took a while!  Now I won't share all 108, but will share some highlights...

We were off to Grapevine, Texas for the Scrapbook Expo at 6:15 a.m.  Arrived just in time around 9:15ish and checked in to the hotel.   We walked into the Gaylord Hotel and I had NO IDEA how HUGE this place was!  OH My Gosh!  It's bigger that the city I live in!  Everything you could want or need is in one place!  Stars...I was completely blown away by this property!  WOW!

Here are a few shots...

Next,  it was off to drop the stuff in the room and head down to the event....Found the Crafty Scrapper's Booth, which looked AMAZING and gave a few hugs to Carolyn, Gena and Anita Houston.

THEN.... It was TIME TO DEMO... Tim Holtz new AMAZING Distress Paints, Dyan Reaveley's New and GORGEOUS Dylusions Sprays and Wendy Vecchi's FANTASTIC Embossing Paste!  Too FUN!

Anita and I took turns with the demo's!  Thank God she was there to show me the ropes!  She ROCKS Y'all!  An Amazing Artist!

It was so cool to meet some of my fantastic blog friends and to meet some new folks along the way!

LOOK TEXASBARB!  IT's KAY!...TEXASFOLKART!!!!  LOL!  SO GLAD SHE CAME!  YAHOOO!

It was an awesome day at The Crafty Scrapper's Booth at The Scrapbook Expo!  Thank You Carolyn Ross for letting me make a mess of your demo table!  Thanks Anita Houston for listening to my stories over and over!  BAHAHAHA!  Thank you all for coming up and saying hello! I am truly blessed to have so many cool friends!

OK, off for Day Two!

Have an amazing Weekend!

  1. OMG!!! DEMO MAN!!! Looks like you loved playing with everything...were you REALLY "working" ?!?!?! So glad to see Kay made it to the show. You know i would have been there if I wasn't off visiting family up in the COLD midwest.

I told you the Gaylord would be spectacular if it was anything like the one in Nashville....and it didn't disappoint, did it? Can't wait to hear all the stories when I get back home.

  9. That hotel is FABULOUS!!!! Were the rooms special too? From what I see in the pictures, you were a natural, it looked like alot of fun and the women all seemed to enjoy. In the one picture it looked like your back was sore, that's alot of standing. Enjoy your rest of your journey, I can't wait to see what you bought.

  13. Yay, Demo Man! That page in the Dyan R journal looked pretty spiffy! I am loving the way the new spray colors fit in with the old--and I can't say enough good things about Tim's Distress Paints. Love the way the blend into the paper so you can't fell any edges!
