NO MORE EYELET STORIES!

Hello Gang and Happy Beginning of the Weekend to you All!

Just as the title states...I'm completely out of eyelet and brad stories!  Yes, I know we could all use another episode of Jimbo's trails and tribulations of not being able to find something he "needs."  NOT!!!!  Thank God!  Hehehehe!  However...

The coolest thing happened today.  First, I ran into Archivers at "Lunch" (Don't tell anyone that I do Archiver's at lunch!  They will find out and I will not be able to leave the hospital campus anymore!...And, I do have my suspicions when my boss comes up to me today and says..."So, did you find any eyelets yet?") to grab some paper for the 3-D Valentine project that I'm going to try and create this weekend! But Wait!!!....What to my sore eyes should appear, but 6 packages of multi colored metal eyelets from We R Memory Keepers...(I LOVE YOU WE R MEMORY KEEPERS!) that miraculously found their way into my basket!  Hoard...we were all talking about that in the comments right?...Hoard I am, are, is and was!  Heck yeah!  The Hoard King!  I took them all and then had this horrible guilt trip thing going on while I walked around the store and went and put one back for that person who might need them worse than I.  So, with the packages I picked up today and the packages I have ordered, I may have some for sharin'....kinda!  maybe, a couple...OK ONE...well, half a package!!!!  I'm not selfish!...kinda....

So, ( If you haven't noticed, "So" is one of my favorite words!)  while I'm on the Archiver's tale, I want to give a BIG shout out to the sweet ladies I met at Archiver's today.  Becky Ann and Beverly.  It was so nice to meet you both and thank you for your kind words.  I always get such a kick out of meeting new friends!  You made my day!

Anyway, the weekend is finally here on 1301 County Road 156! and I can't wait to get busy!  These late nights at work are not my bag and thank the good and Gracious Lawd above that they are finally over!  It's me time...Craft time.... and I need to finish this blasted heart box so I can get on to another project!  I so thought I would be done by tonight, but it ain't happening!  Go figure!  Tomorrow!  I promise!

Y'all, have an awesome Super Bowl weekend!  Have fun with your eyelets and brads and lets all create something AMAZING!

Hugs to ya!

Jim

  3. I am going to have to run over and nab that package tomorrow. We don't want another hitch post incident. And speaking of ordering things, my shipment of the 6 new Dylusion sprays should be here by Tuesday. Will you teach me some tricks if I let you use them or do you already have your stash?

  4. Oh thank goodness! We can all sleep tonight, knowing you found "some". But we will all be out there tomorrow still looking. Hopefully TIM will read about your troubles and come out with some. Wouldn't that make you feel special?

  7. There it is - the end of the hardware saga. I can hear 'sequel coming' in the breeze though. How wonderful! You said 'Ma'am' which to us up North is the epitome of the beautiful Southern manners.
Have a ball crafting away this weekend and may you have enough supplies to meet all your needs.

  12. I would be excited to pieces to meet you in person, Jim. I'm sure you made their day.

I'm confused... do you work at a hospital and you are a buyer for stores? And you are an amazing paper engineer. When do you sleep???

  13. Whew...so glad you found some eyelets!! I was thinking about going to A's yesterday afternoon to see if they had anything I "needed". So glad I didn't make the trip...all the eyelets would have been gone by then. Let's hope they reorder SOON.

Can't wait to see the heart box you've been slaving over!!

  17. Glad you found your eyelet "Fix" Jim! I have some here that you could have had, but I knew that it would take a month for the UK postal service to get them there and that you would have pulled out all your hair by then! Craft shopping is off limits for me at the moment (and I so wanted Dyan's 6 new ink colours), so it's a good job we don't have an Archivers over here. Enjoy your crafting this weekend.

  18. You are just a hoot Jim. Glad you found your eyelets, but now that you have bought out Archivers to replenish your hoard, just think, there are at least 3 other people out there that are going to be in the same boat as you were earlier this week. LOL !!!!!! Just kidding, we all know that it is more important that you have them so you can keep creating for us. We love ya. Have a great weekend and if you are a football lover this is the big weekend. Being born and raised in N.Calif, don't have to tell you who we will be cheering for!!!!!!!!

  19. For me it's copper. Can't ever find any when I 'need' them. I finally stopped using brads and eyelets almost entirely. So sad.

Anyway...hope you have a blast with your replenished stash!

  21. Well slap me silly and call me Shirley, but I do believe your boss may be reading your "public" blog, so you can't get anything past her/him? Jim, you are too too funny and just make my day... and I agree with Ursula, The Gentleman Crafter WOULD leave one package for someone else to snarf up if they need it!
