Happy Saturday!

Good Morning Everyone!

I'm sitting on the front porch relaxing and blogging this morning.  Seems like ever since I got back from vacation, it's been a whirlwind of craziness.  I finally feel a sense of calmness in my world.  I have no idea why, but it feels good!

My neighbors across the street are burning dead trees this morning.  Since the drought here in Texas, we sure have lost a ton of trees.  On the farm here, we lost so many it would bring tears to your eyes.  This once was a tree mecca...not so much anymore.  But, on the bright side, we have planted new ones and will continue to do so in the hopes that one day, they will be as beautiful and ancient as the ones they replaced.

Well, I surely wasn't trying to set that as the tone of this blog....Think Happy Thoughts!

Back to calmness...LOL!  Coffee in hand, breeze blowing, thankful for so many things, the smell of cedar and oak burning...I'm set!

I wanted to share the link to Part 2 of the Thankful Things Book.  I originally thought I would do it on Ustream and record it, but I think it's so much easier for me to do it on YouTube and record it.  I believe it's easier to follow that way.

So, here are some details:

The original Show for Part 1 of the Thankful Things Book can be found here:

The YouTube Video for Part 2 can be found here:

OK, now for some news...I've decided to take the rest of the year off from Ustream to organize and get ready for next year's shows.  Now, that doesn't mean that I will not do an occasional secret show, just going to take a breather from Ustream until January.  I will still blog, do tutorials, and YouTubes,  but want to take the time to enjoy the season and organize my thoughts.

Once the house is really done for Christmas, I would like to come back on Ustream and give you a house tour if you would like.  I can't stay away from you too long...You all have become my family and I love each and every one of ya!  So stay tuned....

Well, I've got to get the weed wacker out...Cesar has everything mowed, now it's my time to add a little labor of love to the farm....

Thanks for coming by!

  5. Absolutely, take some time. You only get to enjoy this Christmas this one time, not somewhere far off in the future. Nothing would be more fun than to see how you've decorated your home this year. You and Cesar both relax a bit.

Of course I'd like to see it in person, too....just sayin'

That's a cool touch, too. I tried multiple times during the day today to check out your post and kept getting weird screens but never could get to your blog....bet that's when you were revamping....so glad to be able to get it this evening!!!!

  10. Definitely take whatever time you need, Jim. I don't know how you juggle as much as you do and stay relatively sane. LOL Would love to see a Christmas decs house tour, but as Shari suggests, please record the U-Stream for us other side of the world people to watch when convenient. Thank you for all that you do to allow us the huge privilege of seeing your wonderful creations and hearing fabulous tales. It is very much appreciated. :)
