Getting Ready!

Good Morning Everybody!

Yes, it's midnight here, but Thursday nonetheless!  LOL!  Can't sleep!  This time it's not because of my caffeine intake, or mind whirling around in thought...I'm just downright excited.  Anyway, I hope this Thursday brings bright and wonderful things your way.

Tomorrow (Friday) I am on a plane to Anaheim, California!  That means packing to do today!  Yes, I have to wait until the last moment to pack!  I have no idea why, it's just easier that way!  LOL!  I like to be organized and ready to go, but packing always gets hitched to the back of a red pickup truck and delayed!

I was trying to think of all the things I needed to remember.  Camera, laptop, figure out what my Twitter account is listed under...Does anyone know? LOL!  When I find out I will let you all know.  I haven't Twittered in so long and need to get back into it.  Oh yeah, I need to make sure I pack the old top hat!  That ought to do it!  As always, when I go on a trip, you know I like to take you with me virtually.  So folks if you're new to following...Watch out!  I will do my best to blog, Twitter and Facebook whatever and whenever I can.

First off, when the plane lands, I get to meet up with one of my favorite people...Carol from Scrapadabadoo.com!  Carol worked her magic and hooked us up with a ride into Anaheim by the wonderful Leisa!  Thanks Tons Leisa!  It's going to be so cool to meet my online friends Carol, Barrie, Kathryn, Kathy, Shelly and to see Laura and my G45 friends again!  Of course I look forward to giving a great BIG hug to Dyan Reaveley, watch Tim in action and to see Mario in his famous shorts!  LOL!  It's so cool and I'm very excited!  If you are at CHA, please make sure you come up and say hello!  I don't bite, but I'm a big hugger! So Beware!

Onto the projects....I totally have butterflies in my stomach for others to see my samples!  Why is that!  But I am!  I guess it  it's my art and my craziness and I am proud of them....That's all that matters.   So, there.  LOL!  Right?  Hahahaha!

Something I didn't tell you all, but will spill now...I was honored to be invited to design a project for the Ranger Designer Challenge this CHA.  Yes, it's kind of a tease because I can't go into detail, but just wanted you all to know, should I be thrown out of CHA for the weirdest possibly ugliest piece on the board!  LOL! We will see!  Whenever I get a chance I will blog about it.  I haven't heard when it will be OK to show.  I do know...well, I think I know... that we can begin showing/blogging our projects on the Saturday the 12th.

Once again, I will do my best this year to try and snap as many pictures of new product and people as I can, so please stay tuned!

Thank you all so much for your support!  I know I say this again and again, but I really mean it.  Without you reading, following and commenting, I can honestly say I wouldn't be here doing what I'm doing!  So Thank You!  I honestly wish you all were on the plane with me...heading into adventure!

Have a an awesome day! Bis Bald meine Freunde!

Silly man, you're as bad as the rest of us - butterflies until people are seeing your work. Awesome that you were asked to participate in the Ranger Designer Challenge. Thank you for taking us along with you. (Gosh, I'm not so sure you'd really want us all there in the flesh. Lol.)I bet your Mom is happy and excited for you too. Have a ball from start to finish!

  22. Do you get to go to Disneyland???? Oh how I love DL. Don't know why you are having anxiety about CHA, have we ever said a bad word about anything you do? I think most of us are so excited for you and jealous. You are well on your way of being the next Tim. I think I said that at the very beginning of your blogging days. As for the coffee, not sure why you are completely giving it up, but if it is because of the caffeine, you could always mix half decaf & half reg. That's what I do. Just read an article this morning saying you should drink 2 cups a day. That would be 8oz, not mega death 24oz! Can't wait for the showings!!!!

  44. I live in California and am so happy you are visiting my state. It might be cold so I apologize for not have our usual sunny weather, like I can contol that. But anyway, I soo wish I could go to the show and meet you. Is it open to the general public, and what are the dates? If not oh well, I'm not a trades person. Enjoy your stay in our beautiful state. Be sure and go to Newport or Huntington Beach they're not like back East beaches but we love them:)
