Fun Fall Project- Part 2

I'm back!  LOL!  Finished up Part 2 of the Fall Leaves Box video.  Actually, it just finished downloading!  You know how that goes around here...SLLLLLoooooWWW!  Very slow! :)

So, here's Part 2.....

Now that I look at the box, it's screaming for more, especially something on the sides!  So off to try and solve that little ditty!

Hope you all are enjoying the weekend so far!

  2. Loved this autumn box Jim. Great leaves. I think these leaves screem wreath !!!!!! At least that was my first thought as I watched these videos. They would also be gorgeous on candles and napkin rings for Thanksgiving table decor. Which is a huge family get together at our house. So I am always trying to come up with new ideas each year. Can't have your table look the same year after year, now can we????? Thanks Jim. Cool project.

  5. I like cookies Jim :) Sitting here watching the NASCAR race and your videos at the same time and it's not working. I discovered I turn up the tv 'cuz I can't hear it and then I turn up the computer 'cuz I can't hear that, then I have to turn the tv up again 'cuz the computer is too loud. I leave in 12 hours for a week in Disneyland and I was bouncing off the walls so I thought I would catch up on my Jimbo. Love the box, can't wait to get back to crafting!

  8. Love the leaves. I made some last year that I just blended the ink onto. Took FOREVER and they were still really light when I was finished. Wish I had seen your technique before then. LOL

  12. Jim, I love this! I am an autumn baby and I just love the colors, crispness of air, all of it! I have a question - am I correct that you did not use modeling paste at all? I watched the videos twice last night and didn't see it either time. I do love this re-inker idea so much! I am SO thrilled that you are sharing your work with all of us on your blog and videos. I'm still looking forward to your tutorials on the lighthouse -- I'm sure you saw Alberto's sort of explosion box/wine bottle packaging -- it seemed like a similar type of construction.... XO, Mary

  13. Hi Jim, Quick query: Does the Inca gold dry to the touch or do you have to varnish over it to seal it? Love the box so far. Looking forward to seeing your spooky g45 project. Hugs, Theresa
