Dylusions Challenge - Done!

Good Afternoon All!

Thanks for your kind words.  So cool!  Appreciate you all!  I'm looking forward to designing projects for Tim.  Please know, I will still be crafting away in my studio doing my thing as always, but will have the cool opportunity to do things for Tim Holtz as needed.  So it is very exciting indeed and I once again thank you for your comments.

OK, Onwards....

As you know I've been a bit under the weather lately!  Feeling so much better!  Still have that same old cough and stuffy nose, but the main thing is the pounding headache is gone!!!  Yahoooo!  It's amazing how something like a headache can really bring you down.  I am so happy to be back getting my hands inky and having projects all over the house.  This is just the way I like it!  LOL!  The kitchen counter is full of carriage clocks waiting to be assembled for presents.  My laptop is in the bedroom where I go and type out the steps to make the carriage clock for a pattern and the studio has been full of Dylusions ink sprays and stamps all day.

Yes, there is a point to this post....I just finished the Dylusional challenge that Dyan Reaveley offered...To open a page from a journal...(Just not the first one) and use the orange ink spray, the spider stamp and the words "New Beginnings"....

Here's what I came up with....

Why do I want to name this project "Bone Daddy"?  LOL!

Hope you all are enjoying your Sunday!  Better get back to the carriage clocks!

  1. Glad to hear you're going to be doing your own things and crafting for Tim. WOW you hit the top. Now can't wait to get my hands on the carriage clock tutorial, got a suggestion, why don't you get the dragon software . While you create each step of the pattern all you have to do is talk it out, and dragon will type it for you. You do have to proof read as dragons a bit fickle sometimes. like cut a piece of... can be cut the pizza. But I love it and it may help you.

  3. Jimbo, ya gots to have studio time...absolutely! Glad the headache is gone because it's total misery dealing with one. I loved the carriage clock and I am sitting on the other side of your screen patiently waiting to buy your pattern... When you get all your clock gifts done, line 'em all up for a photo shoot! We'd love to see the finished clocks. Also, your Bone Daddy is way cool! My hubby really liked it too. I studied and studied it, every time finding a new element. Great job, Mr. G.C.!

  16. Happy that your headaches are gone, they are nasty things. I like your bone daddy page. It's hard to believe considering the images that it could be a cheerful page. It must be his winning smile. I can't wait to get my hands on the pattern for that cute lil clock.

  20. First off Congrats on your Tim adventure. I knew it would only be a matter of time. I just bought several of his new Christmas dies.....so I can't wait to see what you do with them. Love your Bone Daddy. My local craft store didn't get in any cool vintage scary Halloween this year because they moved. They brought in Doodlebug...nothin' scary about that. So I have had to adapt some older things I have(oh dear Lord I have to use what I already own??) So once again, you have inspired me to try something different!

  32. Dear B.D. (aka G.J.),love this skully page. Deliciously evil. Yes, I will follow you anywhere. Graphic 45, Tim, Dylusions...maybe your own company??? Perhaps you could convince Tim and Mario and you to host another cruise workshop. Oh, that frilly little tag album inside a box that Graphic 45 just posted is a stunner. Gives me a good idea of what to make for Mom for Christmas. Thank you, Jim.

  36. Hi Jim I came across your youtube videos. I decided to check out your blog. I'm a new scrapbooker I got into since I was given by both of my grandmothers some family photos. I wanted a way to "protect" them and let other family memebers look at them. I decided to start scrapbooking them. Now I think it another creative outlet for me. I'm enjoying getting to know other people especially guys that like to scrapbook, paint, photoshop art ect... Anyways I enjoy your "Bone Daddy" project very creative. I decide to become a follower to your blog. Hope your week going well?
